Traditional demographics for Southeast Fort Worth will only tell you part of the story. This area of the city, which has long been neglected by developers, is ripe for new investment. A detailed demographic study ordered by the City of Fort Worth in 2008 discovered that there is more to the local economy in Southeast Fort Worth than what Census data reveals.

Social Compact Report

Social Compact, Inc. conducted a detailed survey of the residents of Fort Worth, going far beyond the scope of a decennial census. That survey discovered several key facts, including 20% more residents in the area than the 2000 Census, as well as 10-40% higher incomes than was reported in the Census. Furthermore, the survey estimated that over $70 million in spending leaves the Southeast Fort Worth area each year for no reason other than a lack of shopping in the area.
